Inter Milan have confirmed that defender Varena Varella will leave the club in the summer, as the Bianconeri look to secure a Champions League spot in the Europa League.
Varellas contract runs until 2019.
Inter Milan are yet to comment on his departure.
The 25-year-old has spent the last two seasons at the San Siro and Inter, playing a major role in the club’s Europa League campaign.
Inter have also revealed that the midfielder, who was released by Napoli in August, will not be joining the Rossoneri.
“Varela is leaving Inter,” said an Inter statement.
“He has a contract with Napoli until 2019.”
According to the statement, Varelas salary will be reduced by €10 million per season.
